Introduction

Dr. Joelle Kobliska is a licensed clinical psychologist with a strong foundation in evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessment, specializing in treating adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and personality disorders. She currently operates her private practice, Think Wellness, where she provides integrative psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and psychological assessments utilizing CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused modalities.

Dr. Kobliska earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University in 2018. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. Her clinical experience spans more than a decade and includes extensive predoctoral work as a psychological assistant in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and DBT-focused programs.

Her practicum and early training at Beautiful Minds Medical gave her valuable exposure to treatment planning and individual therapy for patients with complex psychiatric profiles. She later completed psychological assistantships at El Dorado Hills Psychological Center and the Auburn Davis Center for DBT, where she conducted comprehensive assessments and led DBT skills groups for adolescents, adults, and families. At Beautiful Minds Medical, where she served again from 2018 to 2021, she implemented a DBT curriculum, taught IOP classes, and conducted evaluations for a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Kobliska continued her clinical work as a psychological assistant at Blue Sky Counseling Center and iPsychological, focusing on therapy for clients with borderline personality disorder, depression, and ADHD. Since 2020, she has also served as an adjunct professor of counseling at Liberty University, teaching graduate courses in counselor education, facilitating discussions, and mentoring students in a distance learning format.

With a background rooted in both clinical work and education, Dr. Kobliska is known for her direct yet compassionate approach, goal-oriented mindset, and commitment to client empowerment and long-term growth.
