Jason is a parks and recreation planner with over 15 years of experience covering a municipal government's full spectrum of recreation. Jason has spoken at conferences with respect to using recreation as a catalyst for community development. He is an industry leader in creating recreation apps that provide resource inventorying, playground assessment and inspection. Jason is committed to the concept of co-creation and works tirelessly to engage communities in developing shared solutions that are visionary and effective.

Combining a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, Six Sigma Green Belt, and the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) can provide meaningful planning and project management while ensuring the community is engaged and empowered. For example, while working for a municipality, Jason created a tourism plan using multi-modal transportation to link key hotel areas and campgrounds to major sporting facilities. In addition, he has planned and constructed trails in urban and rural settings. One of his achievements has been to connect high-density population areas to commercial and industrial areas while promoting healthy, active living and alternative transportation for work.
