Introduction

Welcome! I am a continuously Board-Certified full-time academic OBGYN Hospitalist, performing inpatient medicine in OBGYN. For the last 12+ years, I've worked 95% of my time on labor and delivery, with the other 5% in Emergency Department GYN consults and surgeries. Prior to that, I was a full-scope, full-time OBGYN in practice for 6 years with a major HMO and an academic practice. On average I see 8-14 patients per shift, 230+ patients per month, 300+ deliveries per year, and I see patients at all stages of pregnancy in the hospital including complications presenting to the main emergency department, to the OB emergency department (triage), management of antenatal admissions, consults, and admissions to labor & delivery and management of postpartum course as well. I have experience as an expert in MVA-related OBGYN injuries. I have conducted IMEs and issued 20+ page reports. I have been continuously ABOG Board-Certified since 2008, and I am currently an Assistant Professor of OBGYN at the U of Rochester working 100% clinically full time. I have reviewed over 150+ cases for the California Medical Board as one of their key OBGYN experts and over 150+ cases for plaintiff and defense cases. Extensive experience with verbal and written review of medical records for both plaintiff and defense (appx 70/30%), with experience with depositions, mediation, and trials, including civil, criminal, and administrative courts. I am a published expert, multiple book chapters author, and I have given over 100+ grand rounds and lectures in OBGYN
