- A: Former Board Member, Missouri Bankers Association (approximately 2012–2019), serving during multiple banking and economic cycles involving regulatory, credit, and operational matters impacting the banking industry. Board Member of MoCann Trade from January 2019 through March 2024, a Missouri cannabis industry trade organization, where I worked extensively on cannabis banking and regulatory issues affecting financial institutions and licensed operators. Actively participated in the development and advancement of Missouri SAFE Banking-related legislation designed to allow banks to rely upon certain state regulatory licensing and compliance information in servicing licensed cannabis-related businesses, reducing duplicative compliance burdens and operational inefficiencies. Frequent speaker and presenter on banking, regulatory, compliance, and cannabis banking matters on behalf of financial institutions, trade organizations, and industry groups, including appearances associated with the Missouri Bankers Association and Missouri legislative discussions.
