Introduction
With over 30 years of experience in the California prison system, including more than two decades in inmate classification, I provide expert witness services grounded in firsthand knowledge of correctional operations. As a former Litigation Coordinator at two institutions, I worked closely with the Attorney General’s Office, managing legal records, coordinating staff representation, and delivering expert testimony. I offer courts and legal counsel objective, informed analysis of inmate classification, institutional policies, correctional practices, and operational procedures.

I have also been retained in civil litigation matters, particularly those involving allegations of excessive use of force within correctional settings.

- A: With over 30 years of professional experience in the California prison system, including more than two decades specializing in inmate classification, I provide expert prison litigation consulting for both plaintiff and defense counsel. My background includes extensive work in evaluating inmate case factors, classification scoring, custody determinations, disciplinary histories, and housing and program placements across both men’s and women’s institutions. I offer detailed analysis of inmate records, institutional practices, and correctional decision-making, helping attorneys clearly understand how policies were applied and whether actions aligned with established standards and legal requirements.
My services include comprehensive case review, correctional policy and procedure analysis, use-of-force evaluations, and disciplinary process assessments, as well as expert witness testimony in civil litigation and criminal resentencing matters. I deliver objective, well-supported opinions through written reports, depositions, and trial testimony, and assist legal teams with discovery, case strategy, and interpretation of complex correctional systems. Cancellation Policy
On-site visits canceled less than 3 business days prior are subject to a $400 cancellation fee.
Prepayment Requirement
Deposition, arbitration, and trial fees must be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appearance.
