Who is The Kilpatrick Group?

The Kilpatrick Group is a forensic engineering and consulting firm. We provide forensic engineering services in three main practice areas

Division I: Motor Vehicle Crash Reconstruction Engineering;
Division II: Industrial Accident Reconstruction Engineering.
Division III: Amusement Park Rides and Attractions.

Mr. Kilpatrick travels throughout the United States and internationally to investigate traffic crashes, industry accidents and amusement park accidents resulting in personal injury or death.

Mr. Kilpatrick has a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Tanker, HazMat and Triples endorsements and is involved in crash reconstruction of heavy commercial tractor trailer crashes as well as the review of drivers logs.

Mr. Kilpatrick is an avid motorcycle owner/rider and expert in motorcycles testing, motorcycles crash reconstruction and motorcycle component defect analyses.

Mr. Kilpatrick has owned and operated ATVs for years and is retained to reconstruction ATV crashes and inspect the ATVs for design defects.

Mr. Kilpatrick is a full member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and retained in amusement ride accidents to inspect the machinery involved in the accident and to reconstruction the accident.

Mr. Kilpatrick has over 20 years of industrial work experience 10 years of which he was employed by the automotive industry.

Mr. Kilpatrick worked for the inventor of the forklift the Clark Equipment Company as an hourly employee from 1978 through 1983. He worked as a class A machinist where he setup and operated the machinery and machined axles housings, transmission housings, spur gears and hypoid gears and also assembled forklift and crane transmissions, axles units. Mr. Kilpatrick was heavily involved in operation of forklifts and has many hours of formal training in forklift operations and has over 1000+ hours work experience operating forklifts. Mr. Kilpatrick is one of the foremost experts in forklifts in the United States.
