Gabriel J. Kaufman, MD, FACS, is a dual board-certified General and Plastic Surgeon uniquely positioned to provide expert analysis in medical malpractice matters involving breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic breast surgery.
His advanced fellowship training in breast surgical oncology, oncoplastic surgery, and reconstructive breast surgery provides an integrated perspective on complex breast cases that frequently cross traditional specialty boundaries.
Dr. Kaufman provides expert consultation and testimony for both plaintiff and defense counsel in matters involving breast cancer surgery, mastectomy and oncoplastic surgery, breast reconstruction, implant complications and revision surgery, capsular contracture, breast reduction, mastopexy, augmentation, and other cosmetic breast procedures. An active breast and plastic surgeon with more than two decades of surgical training and clinical experience, Dr. Kaufman has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications addressing breast cancer surgery, oncoplastic techniques, breast reconstruction, implant-related complications, margin management, and fat grafting. He has delivered invited and peer-reviewed presentations at major national and international breast surgery and oncology conferences.
