Felicia Rosario, MD, is a forensic behavioral analyst and litigation consultant specializing in coercive control, psychological manipulation, human trafficking, cult dynamics, undue influence, abuse dynamics, and trauma-shaped behavior in complex criminal and civil cases.

Attorneys and trial teams retain Dr. Rosario to explain behavior shaped by coercion, fear, dependency, threats, isolation, and exploitation. She analyzes how these forces affect communication, disclosure, decision-making, and testimony. Her work is particularly relevant when a case involves delayed or changing disclosures, recantation, compliance under pressure, continued contact with or return to a controlling person, or an unexpected emotional presentation.

Dr. Rosario helps counsel identify relevant behavioral patterns, anticipate common misconceptions, and develop contextually grounded approaches to case theory, witness examination, and presentation.

Dr. Rosario holds an MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, earned an AB from Harvard University, and completed a psychiatry internship at LAC+USC Medical Center, one of the nation’s busiest public psychiatric emergency systems. She is a member of Harvard Medical School’s Program in Psychiatry and the Law (PIPATL), an interdisciplinary forum focused on behavioral science and legal decision-making.

Her expertise is further informed by documented firsthand experience within a coercive system; she was an executive producer and featured subject of the Hulu documentary Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence.
