Dr. Erica Stevens is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in medical, academic, and telemedicine-based dermatology. She is currently engaged in nationwide practice through DermatologistOnCall, SkyMD, Honeydew, and Post Acute Specialists, providing accessible dermatologic care across multiple states. From 2021 to 2025, she served as a dermatologist with Baylor Scott & White in Buda, Texas, where she was recognized as a Top Doctor in 2023 and 2024. Earlier, she practiced with Westlake Dermatology in Austin from 2019 to 2020.

Dr. Stevens earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2008 from Xavier University of Louisiana, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to receive her medical degree in 2012 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, supported by merit-based scholarships. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2016. She then pursued advanced clinical experience in cosmetic dermatology at the University of Michigan’s Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Center.

At the University of Michigan, Dr. Stevens served as a Clinical Lecturer in Dermatology from 2016 to 2019 and was Director of the Multicultural Dermatology Clinic. She continues her academic engagement as an Adjunct Physician Instructor since 2021. Her contributions extend to professional leadership, having served as Secretary and later President of the Austin Dermatological Society between 2021 and 2023.

An active scholar, Dr. Stevens has co-authored peer-reviewed publications in Dermatologic Clinics and JAAD Case Reports, in addition to abstracts and book/media contributions. She has delivered invited lectures on skin cancer, dermatology of skin of color, hair health, and cosmetic dermatology at leading institutions including the University of Michigan, University of North Carolina, and University of Kentucky.

Dr. Stevens has been recognized with multiple awards, including the University of Michigan “Making a Difference” Patient Appreciation Award, Texas Super Doctors Rising Star distinction, and Baylor Scott & White honors for excellence in care. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and maintains active medical licensure in numerous states.
