I am a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon in clinical practice since 2009. I have spent my entire career at level-1 trauma centers caring for the most critically injured patients. In addition to general orthopedic surgery, I have expertise in all fractures of the pelvis and extremities that do not involve the spine. I have additional clinical expertise in fracture related issues such as non-unions, mal-unions, limb lengthenings and deformity corrections.
I have been heavily involved with teaching orthopedic residents at our local residency program as well as at national resident fracture courses. I have been awarded "Teacher of the Year" by the orthopedic residents and medical students multiple times. I serve as Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).
I have been senior author on nearly a dozen published videos on orthopedic trauma, presented both at national meetings and online. I have multiple publications in peer reviewed journals related to orthopedic trauma.
I am a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Orthopedic Trauma Association and AO Trauma.
I take great pride in being concise but thorough and distilling complex topics into manageable, understandable teaching points. I will make efficient use of my time and yours. I will provide you with thoughtful, engaged, and timely expert witness services and look forward to working with you.
I am also available for, and very much enjoy, opportunities to speak and teach on general orthopedic and orthopedic trauma topics.
