* Attendance at over 4600 births in academic medical centers, community hospitals, birth centers, homes, and international hospitals
* Have taught OBGYN residents, medical students, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and doulas clinically and didactically
* Certified in electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal transitioning (STABLE), and neonatal resuscitation (NRP)
* First assist in cesarean surgeries
* Perform limited OB-GYN sonography
* Helped launch, and then directed one of the country's first in-hospital birthing centers
* Launched and directed a faculty midwife service for midwives to educate OBGYN residents and medical students
* Engaged in full-scope humanitarian midwifery work overseas
