Earnest Welch is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement, security management, and military service. A combat veteran and Infantry leader, Earnest brings over 18 years of law enforcement experience, including expertise in use of force analysis, intelligence, investigations, emergency tactics, crisis management, and policy development. He is also a State Certified Law Enforcement Instructor, specializing in use of force, de-escalation, defensive tactics, and physical fitness. Additionally, Earnest is a Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER) Instructor, further solidifying his expertise in crisis response and safety protocols.
Earnest is a Board-Certified Security Manager, having earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) accreditation from ASIS International, and he currently serves as the Vice Chair of ASIS Chapter 170. Additionally, he is member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IASPC). He holds a Master's degree in Administrative Science and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, which complement his practical knowledge with strong academic credentials.
