Dr. Dennis Paustenbach CIH, CSP, DABT is a board-certified toxicologist and industrial hygienist with nearly 40 years of experience in human health and environmental risk assessment, industrial hygiene, and toxicology. Dr. Paustenbach has authored approximately 400 peer-reviewed publications and more than 50 book chapters on these topics. His textbooks on risk assessment and toxicology are among the most widely used in the field and have been adopted by universities worldwide. He has served as an invited peer reviewer for leading scientific journals and proposed regulatory initiatives. Throughout his career, Dr. Paustenbach has provided expert testimony in approximately 800 depositions and more than 70 trials involving the health effects of chemicals found in sediments, air, soil, consumer products, food, groundwater, and workplace environments.
