Introduction
David G. Smithson MD, CLCP, is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is also a certified life care planner. He has been the medical director of inpatient rehabilitation wards at several hospitals within the Kansas City metropolitan area. This included directing the rehabilitation of patients with stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, amputation, neurologic disorders, cancer, pulmonary and generalized debilitation, as well as multiple other rehabilitation diagnoses.
