Dr. Christiaan P. Hallman is a board-certified dermatologist with more than 25 years of clinical, academic, and private practice experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He currently practices with Regal Medical Group/Lakeside Dermatology, where he provides comprehensive dermatologic care with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment and patient-centered outcomes.

From 2003 to 2023, Dr. Hallman owned and operated Drange Hallman Medical Corporation, a solo private practice serving the Pasadena community. During this period, he earned recognition as one of Pasadena Magazine’s Top Doctors and was consistently rated among the Top 3 Dermatologists in Pasadena by ThreeBestRated.com. His clinical work encompassed the full spectrum of dermatologic conditions, with specialized expertise in skin cancer management, cosmetic dermatology, and laser procedures.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Hallman served as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center (1998–2002), where he trained residents and medical students and contributed to ongoing research in dermatologic pharmacology and phototherapy. His co-authored publication, “Plasma levels of 8-methoxypsoralen after topical paint PUVA on non-palmoplantar psoriatic skin” (JAAD, 1994), reflects his early engagement with psoriasis treatment research.

Dr. Hallman completed his Dermatology Residency at LAC + USC Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, following an Internal Medicine Internship at Stanford University Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine with Highest Honors from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology since 1998, Dr. Hallman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and an active member of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He remains actively engaged in continuing education through national dermatology conferences and invited lectures.
