Introduction

Chris Dedeurwaerder has extensive, first-hand experience with operations, maintenance, technical support, design, construction, and commissioning activities for petrochemical facilities, oil and gas facilities, power generation and pipelines in the electrical, instrumentation, controls and functional process safety disciplines as an Owner’s Engineer.

Significant experience with utility interconnections on behalf of the end user, including new load connections, modifications to existing connections, additions of gas fired generation and renewable (solar and wind) connections. Highly experienced electric service agreements, power purchase agreements, vPPA's and contracts with utility providers.

Specialized in industrial power systems, medium voltage distribution, onsite generation, including gas turbines, solar, wind, BESS and thermal generation.

30 years of project experience, including scope definition, detailed design, schedule and estimates, construction contracts and commissioning. He is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states in the USA and provinces in Canada.
