Charles is a Board-Certified Security Professional with more than 30 years of experience in the physical security industry. Throughout his career he has served in various roles as/with; Security Consultant, Technology Manufacturer and Security Integrator. His extensive experience provides Charles with an unmatched background & ability to speak to all aspects of the security industry from concept, design, installation, programming and maintenance. He can break down intricate concepts into accessible language making his testimony impactful and easily understood by judges, juries, and attorneys alike. Charles provides expert witness services for claims/lawsuits involving Negligent Security, Premises Liability, Personal Injury and Physical Security Technology such as Physical Access Control, Video Surveillance, Biometrics, AI, IoT, Entrance Control & Fencing / Barrier. He also understands and can examine how important their Capabilities, Design, Installation, Programming, Operation, Maintenance & Potential Malfunctions are to the overall security posture.

In addition, Charles is an expert on the Florida Tort Reform Bill / Florida House Bill 837 / Florida Statute 768.0706 that was signed into law in March 2023 providing a “Presumption Against Liability” for multi-family property owners/management companies against premises liability/personal injury claims/lawsuits. Charles is very adept at educating others on the initial and ongoing compliance requirements including CPTED Assessment, security improvements and employee education. He earned the requisite FCP (Florida CPTED Practitioner) designation in December 2024, which was granted by the State of Florida Office of Attorney General.
