Dr. Cassandre Voltaire, DO, ABWMS is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and certified wound care specialist with active clinical experience in wound care, primary care, skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, and post-acute care. Her clinical expertise includes pressure injuries (pressure ulcers/bedsores), diabetic foot ulcers, chronic wounds, surgical wounds, wound infections, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, and amputation prevention. She has extensive experience evaluating medically complex patients whose diabetes, vascular disease, neuropathy, immobility, and other comorbidities affect wound development and healing.

Dr. Voltaire provides medical expert witness and litigation consulting services to both plaintiff and defense attorneys. She performs medical record review, standard-of-care analysis, causation analysis, case screening, written expert reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony as needed. Her case reviews evaluate issues such as delayed diagnosis or treatment, wound deterioration, pressure injury prevention, wound staging, infection management, off-loading, documentation deficiencies, care coordination, medical necessity, and escalation of care.
