Dr. Artin Baghramian, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY34002) with extensive experience in clinical and forensic settings providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment. He is the owner and practitioner of a private practice in Los Angeles, California where he provides specialized therapy to adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples. Dr. Baghramian utilizes evidence-based approaches, including psychodynamic, family systems, humanistic, and behavioral therapy. He treats patients from diverse populations with a wide range of mental health conditions.
Dr. Baghramian also works in California Correctional Health Care Services at Wasco State Prison (WSP). At WSP, Dr. Baghramian serves as part of the Crisis Intervention Team, responding collaboratively with custody, medical, and mental health staff to inpatient and
outpatient inmate psychiatric crises. He conducts comprehensive mental health evaluations for incarcerated individuals to inform housing, security level, and treatment placement decisions. Dr. Baghramian also assesses the level of risk related to threats of harm to self or others, grave disability, and need for higher levels of care, including suicide risk assessments.
Dr. Baghramian graduated from California State University of Northridge with a B.A. in Psychology. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles in 2016. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles in 2020. Dr. Baghramian completed a two year postgraduate fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Wright Institute Los Angeles and received a certificate in 2021.
