Dr. Bansal is a U.S.-trained, actively practicing internist & hospitalist based in south Florida. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. He has been a hospitalist since 2007 including 18 months as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for the University of Miami and currently as a Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Florida International University. He has experience in telemedicine since 2011 and extensive experience in peer reviews, utilization review, and insurance reviews since 2008. He has reviewed several journal manuscripts, including for the British Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Senior Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine. As of December 2017, he is the only physician in the state of Florida with a Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC) credential from the Forensic Expert Witness Association (San Francisco, CA). He has reviewed several malpractice cases and been deposed in such cases 5 times to date. Dr. Bansal is licensed in 19 states as of December 2017.
