Dr. Alison Kang
Chino Hills, CA 91709
I am a board-certified dermatologist with specialized expertise in cosmetic and laser dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer treatment, and independent medical evaluations. I completed fellowship training in both Cosmetic Dermatology and Mohs Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center, providing me with extensive experience in the medical, surgical, and cosmetic management of complex dermatologic conditions.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and graduated in the top ten percent of my class from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where I was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as Associate Fellowship Director for Cosmetic Dermatology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California, where I help train future dermatologists in advanced cosmetic and laser procedures.
My practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, evaluation of treatment outcomes, and management of a wide range of dermatologic conditions. I am a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
For attorneys, insurers, and employers, I provide objective, evidence-based medical-legal evaluations, including Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) assessments. My reports are thorough, well-supported, and designed to address complex medical issues in a clear and defensible manner. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean, I am able to evaluate and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
