Introduction

I am a Forensic Pathologist and Neuropathologist with 4 Boards, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Forensic Pathology and Neuropathology, and 36 years of experience. I have served as a Director of a Pathology Department, Coroner, Deputy Chief Medical Examiner, Acting Chief Medical Examiner and Director of a Forensic Pathology Fellowship Program. I have served on the teaching staff of Kent State Univeristy, The University of Akron, The Ohio State University, Ohio University and Brown University. At the request of the Chairman of the Department of Pathology of Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, I developed an Educational Blog on Forensic Pathology and Forensic Neuropathology, forensicmd.wordpress.com, in September of 2009. This Educational Blog is for medical students, residents, medicolegal investigators, police officers, state fire marshals and attorneys. The entire disciplines of Forensic Pathology and Forensic Neuroopathology will be covered through the posting of articles over the space of several years. The Blog is designed for readers comments and questions, which are answered in a timely manner. The Blog has received interest in not only in North America, but in South America, Europe, Russia, India, China, Australia, and the Middle East.
On October 16, 2016 the Blog was replaced by an Educational Website, www.forensicjournals.com. This blog contains books for purchase, white papers and a forensic science newsletter, which is published on the 15th of each month. The newsletter contains an article on a development in Forensic Pathology and Neuropathology.
