William Badertscher leads Georgetown University information and physical security initiatives. William brings more than 18 years of experience directing security convergence programs, specializing in: Regulatory compliance (Clery Act, FERPA, PCI and HIPAA), cost reduction, revenue generation, risk reduction and service enhancements. William can quickly identify flaws in security programs that lead to litigation.
William graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. He has leading professional certifications, including: ASIS/CPP, PMI/PMP and GIAC/GSEC.
William has worked extensively with ASIS, ANSI/ISO and DHS to write numerous security industry standards.
