Victor Soukamneuth is a Senior Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in structural design and construction defects, as well as practical design and analysis experience of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and marine type structures.
His forensic investigation expertise includes cause and origin failure analysis, structural analysis, and condition assessments of single family, multi-family and custom residences, manufacturing facilities, commercial properties, office buildings, governmental buildings, and light and heavy industrial facilities.
Victor is experienced in investigating incidents involving construction defects, foundation movement, structural failures, wind damage, impact damage, water intrusion, plumbing failures, soil heave and settlement, post-fire structural issues, concrete silo explosions, and vibration effects resulting from construction and earthquakes.
In addition to receiving a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island and an M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Victor is also a Registered Professional Engineer and holds an MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Act) Certification for mines of 650 feet in depth.
Victor has testified in court and at depositions and has been a designated expert in many cases.
