Mr. Thomas Linus is The Director of New Jersey and Philadelphia Forensics, Claims and Litigation. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating The Falcon Groups case load. He brings over 20 years of experience with construction management and forensic delay claim investigations. His years of experience have exposed him to a broad range of projects including residential apartment and condominium projects, high-rise to low-rise commercial construction, building envelope and unitized curtainwall, laboratory facilities, medical office buildings, educational facilities, hospitality construction and military facilities and equipment.
Mr. Linus has extensive experience in many types of commercial building envelope construction and installation including unitized curtainwall, window wall systems, punched windows, various roofing and waterproofing systems including green roofs, masonry construction, EIFS, among many others that are typical through commercial construction.
His experience with construction projects have been from cradle to grave. This includes the proposal and bidding process, negotiating contracts and change orders, construction management, cost and schedule control, close-out documentation, negotiating and analyzing construction claims, mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations. This has been performed for owners and contractors.
Throughout his career, he has routinely authored expert reports and testified through mediations and depositions involving construction litigation and claims. He has provided supporting documentation to counsel through written reports, mediation/arbitration preparation and deposition preparation.
