Mr. Lang is a Regional Vice President, Building Envelope Division and an Architect involved with the firm's architecture and engineering projects. Mr. Lang is responsible for overseeing Townhome and Condominium building envelope work in the State of New Jersey, including the identification of deficient conditions, executing detailed investigations of specific concerns or complaints, conception and execution of repairs, and construction observation services to assure remediation work complies with the designed solution. Mr. Lang also consults with clients on project delivery matters and follows-up to ensure client satisfaction.
Mr. Lang is a registered architect in the State of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania and earned a National Council of Architectural Review Boards (NCARB) certificate. Mr. Lang received professional accreditation as a LEED Green Association (LEED G.A.) from the U.S. Building Council (USGBC's). LEED is the nationally-accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.
Mr. Lang is proficient with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (NJUCC) and the International Building Code (IBC). Mr. Lang has also received training from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) in the New Jersey Rehabilitation Subcode (N.J.A.C 5:23-6) and from ASTM International related to ASTM E2018 Standard for Property Condition Assessments.
Mr. Lang's possesses over twelve years of experience providing Architectural Design and Forensic services as well as Construction Observation/Management services. Mr. Lang's experience includes working on multi-family residential, commercial, municipal, industrial and mixed-use projects in the States of New York, New Jersey and California. He has investigated and corrected deficiencies in various cladding and roofing systems and as a Registered Architect, possesses vast experience working with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil engineers.
Mr. Lang has extensive experience in developing Transition Engineering Studies, Construction Deficiency Reports, Leak Investigation Reports and Cost to Cure Estimates. He also possesses experience assisting Condominium Association's navigation through all phases of the repair/reconstruction process following a fire. Such services often include responding to the initial emergency to develop immediate plans to stabilize the structure, developing repair/reconstruction plans, communicating with the local Code Official regarding complex Code issues that may impact the project, providing Construction Observations services and assisting the Association with insurance claim issues.
Mr. Lang's clients have ranged from Condominium Association's throughout the State of New Jersey to Federal clients such as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and high profile commercial clients including Geico, Chevron Energy Solutions, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and the Irvine Company.
Mr. Lang's background in Construction Management and experience as a licensed General Contractor in the State of California provides him with a unique perspective that is useful during the development of design solutions and preparation of construction documents. Mr. Lang regularly interacts with contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and attends seminars to keep abreast of the latest product, industry, and governmental developments.

Mr. Lang is extremely proficient with AutoCAD, ArchiCAD & Artlantis R and has experience working with Microstation and Vectorworks Building Management Modeling (BIM) software.
