Robin Roberts brings over 25 years of diverse experience as an architect and construction professional. Prior to joining Robson Forensic, his career included building design, construction management, adaptive re-use, and practical experience as a general contractor. Robin applies his expertise to forensic investigations involving personal injury (slip, trip and fall incidents), design defects, construction site injury, compliance with accessibility guidelines, and large construction claims.
As a registered architect, an OSHA outreach trainer for the construction industry, and former licensed general contractor, Robin can address both the theoretical and practical aspects of building design, construction project management, and safety within the built environment. His diverse project experience is a broad range of facility types, including retail, fast food, multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and hospitality. His expertise includes design and construction documents, cost estimating, specifications, and a wide variety of building materials and techniques during the construction process. Robin’s unique perspective as an Architect and General Contractor allows him to conduct investigations through the lens of both designer and builder.
Robin conducts forensic casework throughout the Southeast United States. He is a registered architect in Florida and South Carolina and nationally certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Robin earned his BA in Design and M.Arch. from Clemson University in South Carolina. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Architects, American Bar Association and ASTM International.
