Robin Roberts brings over 25 years of diverse experience as an architect and construction professional. His career, prior to joining Robson Forensic, included building design, construction management, adaptive re-use, as well as hands-on experience as a general contractor. Robin applies his expertise to forensic investigations involving personal injury, slip, trip and fall incidents, design issues, construction site injury, accessibility claims and large construction claims.
As a registered architect, an OSHA outreach trainer for the construction industry, former licensed general contractor, and real estate agent, Robin can address both the theoretical and practical aspects of building design, construction project management, and safety within the built environment. His diverse project experience is a broad range of facility types, including retail, fast food, multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and hospitality. His expertise includes design and construction documents, cost estimating, specifications, and a wide variety of building materials and techniques during the construction process. Robin’s unique perspective as both an Architect and General Contractor allows him to investigate an issue understanding the very complicated nature of construction projects from various angles.
Robin conducts forensic casework throughout New England. He is a registered architect in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and South Carolina; he holds certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Robin earned his BA in Design and M.Arch. from Clemson University in South Carolina. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Architects, American Bar Association and ASTM International.
