Dr. Omar Darwish is board certified in Internal Medicine (since 2010) and is a full-time practicing Hospitalist at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He is available for expert witness consultations to both defense and plaintiff attorneys. He has provided expert review on cases on unexpected hospitalized deaths, sepsis, atrial fibrillation/stroke, sacral decubitus ulcers, and cases of medical claims of medical necessity. He is the acting coordinator of the Morbidity and Mortality Conference for the Department of Medicine. Here he reviews cases on a regular basis that involve unexpected complications or deaths and creates a learning conference to the medicine faculty.
