Michael Rotchford of RTCH Corp. is an expert in commercial real estate restructuring, ground leases, sales, leasing, and financing transactions. Mr. Rotchford has completed over $40 billion of assignments. His largest assignment was acting as the real estate expert witness for the Port Authority of NY and NJ in the arbitration proceedings with Silverstein Properties related to the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site. The Port Authority won on all items in dispute. Example other assignments include Syms bankruptcy, various private equity restructurings, Olympia & York bankruptcy, and advising the MTA on the ground lease at 383 Madison. Mr. Rotchford has structured the capital stack for the development or redevelopment of multiple trophy office buildings including 300 Madison (NYC), One South Dearborn (Chicago), and BOK Park Plaza (OK City). Mr. Rotchford has represented numerous corporate clients in HQ transactions including Verizon, NY Times, and Kraft.
