Matt Robinson is a former Official Lead Aircraft Accident Investigator for the United States Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to his many military investigations, he has investigated and testified in a multitude of civil accidents (FAR part 91, 121 and 135 operations) as well, including crop-dusters, power-line utility helicopters, off-shore helicopters, in-flight fires, ground fires, aircraft maintenance and aeronautical decision making. He has been accepted in federal court in aviation accident reconstruction.
Matt is the president of the Southern California Safety Institute (SCSI) and provides aircraft accident investigation training to organizations all over the world.

Matt holds Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Certified Flight Instructor (CFII) certificates and lectures on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration’s FAAST Team.
