Introduction

Dr. Marty P. Gagliardi, MD, FACS is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with almost 40 years experience, the last 12 years dealing exclusively with injuries to the pelvis and extremities. His work has included serving as orthopaedic medical director for a Level II trauma center in Florida and a Level III center in New York, plus recent extensive work at a major Level II trauma center in Tacoma, Washington. He presently is in active practice in Virginia and New York, with active medical licenses in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, California, Maine, Michigan and Illinois. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Clinical Member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
