Lee conducts investigations involving architecture, contractual responsibility, premises safety, and codes and standards. He has more than 30 years of experience in the planning, funding, design, construction and forensic investigation of buildings of various kinds, including high-rise office, residential and mixed use projects.
Having worked for a variety of public agencies and private sector firms over the course of his career, Lee has been a project architect, a capital improvement program administrator, a building official, and a design/build project manager, giving him a deep understanding of the building process, and how buildings are used by occupants, from the perspectives of designer, builder, and regulator. Accustomed to challenges involving decisions he has made in one official capacity or another, Lee has always prevailed when those decisions were adjudicated.
Lee is an NCARB certificate-holder, and is currently licensed as an Architect in the states of Ohio and Florida. He is a certified Florida Building Code Administrator, and a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Code Congress (ICC), the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), and the Proton Therapy Co-Operative Group (PTCOG).
