Introduction

At LCPMD, Dr. Gavron serves as a neuropsychology subject matter expert, providing opinions to attorneys working on cases including but not limited to personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation. She conducts in-depth assessments of skills and abilities linked to brain function, including the impact on activities of daily living and vocational capabilities.

Dr. Gavron started her education at Michigan State University where she studied Psychology and completed pre-med coursework. She went on to earn a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology while in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed her training at University of California. She completed additional residency training at the Cleveland and Memphis VA Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dr. Gavron added MS degrees in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science and Biomedical Neuroscience from the University of Florida, following her post-doctoral fellowship. In her work, Dr. Gavron has a particular interest in neurodegenerative disorders, aphasia, traumatic brain injuries, and post-injury cognitive rehabilitation.
