Introduction

Dr. Turkington is a clinician, educator and advocate. She is a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Health Consultant, and Advanced Forensic Nurse with more than 20 years of active clinical experience. Dr. Turkington is an accomplished clinician who creates comprehensive life care plans for complex, catastrophic and disabling cases across the lifespan. She also offers case management clinical services as needed or requested. Dr. Turkington focuses on major traumatic and disfiguring injuries, amputations, complex medical conditions, but is equally comfortable providing cost estimates, preliminary care plans, and general needs recommendations for adults and children. She consults with clients requiring school needs recommendations, IEP meetings, Section 504 plans, disability evaluations, and those with special needs trusts.
