Dr. Victoroff is an internationally known expert in traumatic brain injury/brain injury medicine/head injury, as well as in criminal or violent behavior due to neuropsychiatric conditions. He is Harvard trained and triple board-certified in Neurology, Psychiatry, and Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry. He serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology and Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California.
Dr. Victoroff is one of the five neurologists recruited by U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher to care for retired NFL players with brain injuries. He is the principal author of the first major textbook on that subject: "Concussion and Traumatic Encephalopathy" (Cambridge University Press, in press now). His civil work has been 50 - 50 plaintiff-defense. He has given testimony in 70 - 80 depositions and about 25 trials.
