Before coming to Omaha in 1996, Dr. Crabb received training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Rochester. He then served as an attending at the US Naval Medical Center San Diego, teaching Hand Surgery and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Crabb is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (AAOS). He served 6 years as the Nebraska representative to the AAOS Board of Councilors. Dr. Crabb’s interest in the medical-legal field began in 2005. He realized that a focused support system could improve the process of evaluation of the injured worker, and thus founded Merit Medical Evaluations in 2005 to provide the highest quality assessments. The business grew out of a passion to bring experts in the field together to provide better outcomes. Since then, Dr. Crabb has continued to perform independent medical exams as well as develop telemedicine applications and early assessment analytics for injured workers.
