Eric Schwam, MD. FACEP is board certified in emergency medicine, with over 28 years of full time emergency department practice, having seen over 70,000 patients. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown Medical School and is the Director of Quality Assurance for the Emergency Care Center of Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he has reviewed and presented over 1,000 mortality and morbidity conferences. He has reviewed over 75 emergency department cases for both Plaintiff and Defense and testified in a dozen depositions and 2 trials. He has served as the physician member of the Massachusetts Medical Malpractice Tribunal in over 2 dozen cases.
