Dr. Jamison is a biomedical engineering expert specializing in orthopedics, musculoskeletal biomechanics, and injury causation. After earning his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University, Dr. Jamison went on to Villanova University where he worked as an assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He has received multiple grants for innovation in engineering education, and remains active there in an adjunct faculty appointment.
He has published peer-reviewed research in the Journal of Biomechanical Engineering and authored a book chapter on orthopedic biomechanics. He has presented his research internationally, including conferences for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Orthopaedic Research Society, and the Society for Biomaterials.
As an expert at Robson Forensic, his practice is focused on applying principles of biomechanics to provide investigations, reports, and testimony toward the resolution of disputes and litigation involving injuries associated with vehicle crashes, slip-and-falls, workplace and recreation. In this role, he applies his 10+ years of research and teaching experience in orthopedic biomechanics, with a focus on tissue injury and degeneration and fracture fixation.
