Introduction

As a hot beverage expert witness and author of two books on handling hot beverages, Dan Cox has successfully provided consultation and expert witness testimony on dozens of cases for foodservice establishments, airlines, transportation corporations, cup manufacturers, and makers of commercial and home brewing equipment.

His expert witness testimony has fortified the defense in cases related to the temperature of the beverage at the time of brewing, service, or spill, drive-thru spills, and the functioning of commercial brewing equipment.

Dan has worked for nearly four decades in the coffee and tea industry, honing expertise in best practices for brewing and serving, the reasons very high temperatures are required for a quality product, and the proper operation of commercial brewing equipment.
