Arie Blitz is a board-certified cardiac surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has practiced in both academic and private-practice environments, and is a former Professor of Surgery. He has held numerous leadership roles in his field. His practice is focused on coronary bypass surgery, valve surgery, aortic dissections, TAVRs, ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, and he has numerous peer-reviewed publications. He has spoken at both national and international meetings. He also has an active social media presence, including a popular Youtube channel where he provides lectures and narrated videos of his surgical procedures.
