Architecture, Construction and Premises Safety Expert
Anthony Shinsky, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP is a Registered Architect with nearly three decades of professional experience in the construction consulting. His expertise in facility design, construction, and architectural professional practice, along with his extensive experience in the premises safety aspects of the built environment, are applied to relevant forensic casework.
Anthony has hands-on experience with virtually every job in the industry, from designer and draftsman to project manager and firm owner. This in-depth knowledge enables him to address complex issues involving the design, construction, and occupancy of the built environment. His experience in management as a project manager and firm owner has provided him with an in-depth knowledge of how the building industry works. This includes a wide variety of building and facility types, with a particular focus on detention, correctional, municipal, police and fire, and judicial occupancies.
Anthony is certified by the National Council of Registration Boards (NCARB) with registrations in more than 15 states and the District of Columbia. He is an active member in ASTM International’s Committee F13 on pedestrian/walkway safety and is also a certified user of the English XL slip tester. Anthony is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), both locally and nationally. He is also a member of the American Correctional Association (ACA), and a past member of the code advisory committee to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Central Pennsylvania chapter.
