Amber Bowman is board certified in internal medicine and has been practicing > 10 years at Durham VA, Duke Regional and WakeMed. She has served on internal protected peer review committee as representative for hospital medicine to evaluate and provide feedback to physicians on medical decisions. She has served as an independent cases reviewer at IMEDECS and Kepro since 2016 and worked as an expert witness in evaluating the standard of care in hospital medicine. She provides consulting and expert witness services including research, consultations with the client, reviewing documents, report writing, depositions and testimony.
