I am a clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in substance abuse and addiction, substance-related brain damage, traumatic brain injury, and dementia. I have been associated with Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital since 1984, currently as consulting staff, and with Harvard Medical School from 1984 to 2008. I have conducted numerous neuropsychological and addiction evaluations in both criminal and civil forensic cases. Research, teaching, and publications include neuropsychology of volition, facial expression, addiction issues, test development, anosognosic denial, and normal aging. Forensic cases occupy approximately 25% of my professional time.
