Forensic Image Analysis is the scientific examination, comparison and/or evaluation of images for court. This includes image enhancement or clarification (seeing details in the image that are not readily available), image authentication (has the image been altered, is it a composite), evaluation (how does time-lapse or the pixel aspect ratio effect the image) and comparative analysis (is the car from one image the same as the car in the other).
