Dr. Masters is board certified in Addiction Medicine and has practiced in the field for 17 years. He has experience in: outpatient and inpatient rehab, Methadone clinics, and in the administrative oversight of addicted physicians. He has lectured on the topics of alcoholism and drug addiction to members of the Travis County Medical Society and the Texas Lawyers Assistance Program. He teaches the Addiction Medicine portion of the Psychiatry rotation for medical students at the Texas A&M medical school in Round Rock and to PA students from South University in Austin, Texas. He has been an expert witness in: capital murder cases, divorce, custody proceedings, and in a case involving inhumane treatment of an incarcerated prisoner.
