Introduction

Dr. Serota has the unique distinction of being triple board certified in dermatology, allergy/asthma/immunology and pediatrics requiring 8 years of training following medical school. He is considered a national expert in the fields of dermatology and allergy/asthma/immunology. He lectures nationally and has published numerous peer reviewed articles, textbook chapters and reference articles in these areas. He has served as an expert witness on cases ranging from asthma, allergies, occupational issues/exposures, mold exposures, food allergy, anaphylaxis, rashes, dermatology procedure related injuries, skin cancer/missed skin cancer, abuse related injuries, Stevens Johnson Syndrome/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, scabies and vaccine related injuries. He has been approved as a medical expert in both state and federal courts including a federal court finding for summary judgement in a landmark case citing his medical expert report primarily. He graduated medical school at the age of 23. He is licensed to practice medicine in 25 states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI, WV, WY.
