Dr. AMIN is Director of Endovascular Interventions at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was formerly the chief of vascular surgery at St. Joseph hospital. Dr. Amin completed his undergraduate work at George Washington University and earned his medical degree at Robert-Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, New Jersey; completed his residency in surgery at Cooper Hospital / Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in vascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Much of his practice involves endovascular management of peripheral vascular disease in the peripheral catheterization suite and has contributed to the development of some of the newest forms of treatment for vascular disease. Dr. Amin has a hands-on endovascular training course for vascular surgeons and cardiologists. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, member of Society of Interventional Radiology, and International Society of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Amin has authored numerous articles and has presented in a number of national and international vascular meetings. He is on the editorial board of vascular disease management and reviews articles for other vascular journals. One of the judges characterized him as “credible, knowledgeable, honest, cooperative”. He presently serves as a medical expert to both plaintiff and defense attorneys.
