Dr. Lu is a biomedical engineer experienced in biomedical analysis dealing with how a human body interacts with and responds to forces and torques involved in various types of accidents including motor vehicle accidents, medical device failure, sports injury, slip/trip/fall, industrial accidents, and many other acute events. She is particularly experienced in analyzing the occupant kinematics and injury causation in low-moderate speed collisions. She is also experienced in the field of accident reconstruction involving pedestrians, bicycles and motorcyclists. She received multiple prestigious awards in the field of biomedical engineering for her research accomplishments.
BEC Consulting, LLC focuses on forensic engineering (accident reconstruction) and consulting engineering and is also involved in the research, development and design of products and systems. Our engineering team represents a variety of engineering disciplines; mechanical, biomechanical, biomedical, civil, safety, industrial, metallurgy and materials. This diversity enables us to reconstruct a variety of types of accidents; automobile, truck, aircraft, boat, train, bicycle, ATV, product, roadway design, electrocution, fire and explosion, slip/trip and fall, "black box" (EDR) and more.
