Bill Gale, with more than thirty years of industrial loss prevention and fire protection engineering experience, has been offering international litigation support services since 1991. His areas of expertise include fires, explosions, and loss of containment (LOC) incidents involving flammable and hazardous materials. Bill received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in Fire Safety Engineering Science and was formerly Chief Loss Prevention Engineer for Bechtel.
As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Professional Engineer (PE) in both mechanical engineering and fire protection engineering, Bill is often called upon to opine on matters related to the prevailing standard-of-care with regard to engineering negligence allegations, code compliance issues, and product liability actions. He is also frequently consulted on accidents related to failure analysis, root cause determination, and assessment of contributing factors. Bill's research in risk assessment and risk management involving human factors contributes to his work in human error analysis and analysis of issues involving safe operating practices and procedures.
