Dr. Vijay K. Madisetti

Dr. Madisetti, PhD (EECS, UC Berkeley, 1989), is a full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, and has served as an expert witness and consultant in several leading Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation cases (both ITC 337 proceedings and Federal Circuit) in the past five years. Dr. Madisetti has reviewed and analyzed software and hardware designs through source code analysis for pre/post-litigation phases. He leads several large technology research programs in the areas of telecommunications, wireless, multimedia, networking, and multimedia technologies at Georgia Tech and has authored several textbooks in these fields. He recently received the 2006 Frederick E Terman Medal from the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) for his contributions to Electrical Engineering, and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
